Veg Vs Non-Veg, it has always been a debatable thing and both the diets have their pros and cons. It is up to an individual what he opts for. The ultimate aim is to intake required nutrients from the diet we generally follow.

But somehow we have seen a gradual shift from Non- Veg diet to Veg diet. There could be numerous reasons behind it but it is eventually better for the environment also. Nature has its own ways of balancing the animal population. There is no need for humans to eat animals and disturb the food chain and life cycles for animals. Moreover, with the growing need of humans for meat, it will end up with extinction of many species. It is right that Non-Veg food will provide good or maybe better nutrients, fats, and vitamins but on the contrary Veg food will have its own alternatives to fulfill the body demands.

Talking about the quality of life, it is undoubtedly better for Vegetarians because Non-Veg is one of the biggest sources of Fats and is responsible for heart blockage. The amount of cholesterol is more in Non-Veg food hence causing issues like Obesity, high BP. Plus there can be many diseases that can be transferred from eating chicken and seafood.

Vegetarian food will undoubtedly provide all the required nutrients but also increase the quality and quantity of life. If you talk back to ancient times, why did people have longer lifespans and lesser diseases? Only because their diet was mostly vegetables and that too raw. Some of you might have spiritual reasons also to opt for veg food, which is a valid one. Consuming Non-Veg is anyhow killing an animal and eating it for your own taste.

Like I said in the beginning also, it is up to an individual only what reason he has to choose either of the diets. But Veg food definitely has more advantage over the Non-veg food.
